National security has been a popular topic among the media today leaving Americans and politicians divided on what actions should be taken at the border and what crosses the line. Trump’s overwhelming efforts to “build the wall” are at the heart of the issue.

On one hand, people believe that President Trump’s wall is not the right action that the President should be taking and he is doing too much in all the wrong ways. Instead of the wall, President Trump should be focusing his efforts on more modern ideas of security. There is no question that national security is important, however, President Trump is not doing enough in the right ways to help our border security.

On the other side, people support President Trump’s wall and think that he should continue with his efforts and do even more to secure the border. The wall is not an outdated idea and in fact exactly what the country needs at our borders. President Trump has designed a wall that is effective and that we need at the borders for our security. Illegal immigrants are pouring through our borders bringing with them drugs. They are stealing jobs that should be going to real hard working Americans. Trump building the wall shows that he actually cares about the American people and our safety unlike many before him.
